About

Laurie Gorelick Interiors is a full-service interior design studio providing residential and commercial design services to a discerning clientele. Working closely with its clients, it seeks to translate clients’ desires into a fresh, visual aesthetic that reflects their tastes and unique personalities.

The collaboration between designer and client begins with principal designer Laurie Gorelick. Assessing needs, respecting architectural integrity, Laurie listens to the narrative of what the client and the space want. At each stage of the design process, Laurie is mindful of all details to ensure that she achieves a successful design solution.  This collaboration and attention to detail is Laurie Gorelick Interiors’ assurance that the clients’ needs, budgets and lifestyles are all met.

Laurie Gorelick

Laurie did not follow the traditional career path of most designers.  Instead, she spent 10 years as a practicing attorney in New York City after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and New York University School of Law. Laurie’s deep-rooted passion for art and design drove her to trade her briefcase for a portfolio.  She earned a degree in interior design from the New England School of Art & Design, winning many design competitions along the way. In 2000, she established Laurie Gorelick Interiors after honing her skills as a design assistant at a Newbury Street design firm.

Laurie’s keen senses of color, pattern and texture infuse her designs and bring life to stagnant interiors.  With over 10 years of experience, Laurie has cultivated a fine-tuned network of tradespeople and vendors upon whom she relies for kid-glove service and one-of-a-kind pieces.  Her intellectual yet practical approach has brought her clients from New England to Florida to California. In addition, Laurie’s personal skills and depth of knowledge has earned her a position teaching and mentoring graduating young designers from the New England School of Art & Design.
